As a result of the new partnership between Kroger and Southern Wine & Spirits [see WSD 11-16-2015], several industry trade groups -- including American Beverage Licensees, National Association of Beverage Importers, The Presidents Forum, WineAmerica, National Beer Wholesalers Association and the Brewers Association -- have come together to request that the TTB clarify the agency's position on tied house, commercial bribery, exclusive outlet prohibitions, and prohibitions on providing items of value either directly or indirectly.
